This release ships Apple Silicon only — an Intel (x86_64) build is planned but not published yet.
Then three steps

Move it to Applications
Drag Lyrice into your Applications folder before opening it the first time.

Open it once
First launch shows a short legal notice — read it and continue. If macOS blocks the app, choose Open Anyway in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Play something
Apple Music or Spotify will ask for Automation permission. Grant it, hit play, and lyrics follow the track from then on.

Good to know
- Move Lyrice to Applications first — macOS treats apps opened from the Downloads folder differently on first launch.
- Current builds are ad-hoc signed and not notarized, so Gatekeeper may show a prompt once.
- Lyric providers are optional and off by default. When enabled, only matching metadata (title, artist, album, duration) is sent to the provider you chose.
- No account, no telemetry, no server. Your library, cache, imported lyrics, and settings stay on your Mac.
- Application code is MIT licensed. Lyrics and music content remain the property of their rightsholders.
